With advancing severe storms to the south, The Kershaw Easter Egg Hunt began on time at Stevens Park at 3pm on Sunday. The community collaborative effort saw over 10,000 eggs stuffed and ready to be hid in the pine area near the new playground.
Multiple churches and sponsors offered booths and additional activities in the parking lot. The Easter Bunny met children in the gazebo. A free lunch was provided inside the community center.
The rain held off till about 15 minutes until 5:00 pm. The event ended with no-one getting wet. A raffle gave away 18 Easter Baskets, and two 20 inch bikes.
Below are some pictures from the event.
