Lancaster, South Carolina March 6, 2019

Missing Adult

    The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office needs help in locating Henry Steven Childress.  Mr. Childress is an 82-year-old a white male.  He is six feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has white hair, a thin moustache, and brown eyes.  He also has a scar on his chest from prior surgery. He takes medications for several conditions. Mr. Childress left his home at 3393 Millstone Creek Road in Indian Land early this morning wearing jeans, a golf polo shirt, and a sweater.  He drove to Toyota of Rock Hill on Galleria Boulevard in a 2019 black or dark blue Toyota Highlander bearing South Carolina tag number 1438KF. Mr. Childress was last seen at a BB&T Bank branch in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at about 2:30 this afternoon.  He might be traveling to Jacksonville, Florida. A photograph of Mr. Childress is attached.

    Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Childress or his automobile is encouraged to immediately call the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office at the below number or your local law enforcement agency.
