Update November 19, 2018
Malcolm Eugene Belk was taken into custody Thursday evening, November 15, 2018. Members of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit found Belk at a home at 310 Elm Street, Lancaster, at approximately 7:00 p. m. and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Lancaster County Detention Center where warrants previously issued charging him with Burglary First Degree, Attempted Murder, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime were served upon him. Belk appeared before a magistrate Friday morning, and bond was denied. Belk remains incarcerated.
Sheriff Barry Faile said, “Three ofthe four people charged in this violent incident are now in jail. Our investigators and deputies have beenworking nonstop to locate these defendants, and we appreciate the informationwe have received from the public. Onlyone person, Danquinton Lamar Johnson, remains at large.
