“Sheriff’s office seeks info on possible kidnapping
The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about an assault and possible kidnapping that occurred around 2 p.m. May 29 on Jackson Road East outside of Chesterfield.
A female reported she was walking to check her mailbox around 2 p.m. when a tan and gold colored SUV stopped in the middle of the road.
A white male wearing a black coat, toboggan and one black glove got out of the vehicle and punched the woman multiple times in the head, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The man allegedly grabbed victim’s 1-year-old child and sped away in the SUV.
The victim told the sheriff’s office said she’s never seen the suspect before.
Anyone with information about the assault or the alleged kidnapping is asked to contact the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 623-2101.
The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are also assisting in the investigation.”
