A Digital Pinhole Camera Experiment

Before the days of lens on the front of the camera, small pinholes focused the light so an exposure could be made. The cameras were aptly called pinhole cameras.  I had seen a website that talked about making your DSLR function like a pin hole camera, so I decided to try. Basically you make a hole in the camera cap, and use aluminum foil for cover the new hole and then poke a tiny hole in it. Below are some of the first pictures. You can see how I worked to make the hole smaller and smaller to sharpen the picture.  Be brave and try new things. Put the smartphone down and make yourself smart.
