The Andrew Jackson Volunteers swept both games against the Chesterfield Rams in their away game on Friday night. The AJ boys broke their losing streak with a 68-63 win, and the Lady Vols continue their march to the playoffs with a 70 to 37 win over the Lady Rams.
The Lady Vols dominated scored in all four quarters of their game. With a 14-point lead at the end of the first quarter, the score was 22-8. The Lady Vols continued their scoring drive by adding 23 points to the Lady Rams 12 points to bring the score to 43-20 at the break. In the third quarter, the scoring pace continued with AJ scoring 16 to the Lady Rams 8 points. At the end of the game, the final score was 70-37 in favor of the Lady Vols.
Danielle Ussery continues to be the lead scorer for the Lady Vols with 4 treys, one field goal, and 4 of 7 free throws, for a total of 18 points. Raegan Brewer was close behind with 17 points. Osha Black and MaKaylen Crosby dropped in 11 points each. Mackenzie Marshall added 5 points. Isha Williams and Madie Catoe each had 2 points

Jones of the Chesterfield Lady Rams paced the field with 15 points.
The Andrew Jackson Volunteers took the lead early in the game and ended the first quarter ahead by 3 points 20-17. Vols scoring dropped some and the Rams gained the advantage to bring the score at the break to 30-34 in favor of the Rams. The Vols and the Rams came out tied at the end of the third quarter. The final quarter saw the lead swap back and forth. The Vols gained a small advantage and AJ rallied with two scores and several free throws. Jamie Hinson dropped in the final AJ score with just seconds to play. The Rams made a layup, but ran out of time. AJ won with a 5-point victory 68-63.
Jalen Robinson hit 9 field goals and 6 of 8 free throws for 24 points to lead the Vols. Jamie Hinson made 16 points. Joey Walters had 11 points. Cam Vincent dropped in 7 points. OJ White had 6 points. Shieme Ricks had 2 points. Damion Wright and Josh Adams each had 1 point each.
