The Andrew Jackson Volunteers scored dual home wins against the Chesterfield Rams on Tuesday night. The Boys landed a solid 68-45 win, and the Lady Vols snagged the 22-point victory 71-49 over the Lady Rams.
The AJ Boys fell behind by 3 at the end of the first quarter, and rebounded to a one point lead at the half , 28-27. The Vols found a 13 point lead in the third quarter to bring the score to 45-32. The final score secured a 23-point advantage for the Vols 68-45
Lead scorer for the Vols was Joey Walters with 24 points with 5 treys, Shimere Ricks scored 21 points and 4 treys. Jamie Hinson dropping in 9 points. Jalen Robinson and Cam Vincent each added 4 points. Darrien Wright, Zack Aldridge and Griffin Gardner had 2 points each.
Andrew Jackson had 9 turnovers and 19 team fouls. The Rams had 21 team fouls and 13 turnovers.

The Lady Vols found a decisive victory over the Lady Rams 71-49 on Tuesday night. They took the advantage 19-6 in the first quarter. The Lady Vols continued the advance to the half-time score of 38-23. In the third quarter, they widened the lead to 56-34, and finished the game 71-49.
Danielle Ussery lead the Lady Vols with 18points and 4 treys. Raegan Brewer followed close behind with 16points and 2 treys. Iesha Williams scored 13 points. Caroline Wrenn dropped in 9 points, and Mackenzie Marshall added 6 points. Makaylen Crosby had 5 points, and Osha Black added 4 points
The Lady Vols had 23 team fouls and 14 turnovers The Lady Rams had 17 turnovers and 21 team fouls
